Unable to import Car Care exported entries

I exported data from Car Care on my iPhone 3G and am trying to import it into the Car Care website so I can load the data on my new iPhone 3GS. When attempting to upload the data to the website I’m getting an error, unfortunately it doesn’t tell me what the error is, it simply states:

Step 3: Get your vehicle code and passord

Sorry, there was an error with your input. Please try importing your data again.

I've been trying to get this data imported for 2 weeks. The data is copied and pasted from the export file emailed to me from the application's export process.

Interesting. How low does the fuel have to get before the POI show up? I get a warning on the dashboard that fuel is low at 50 miles-to-empty (MTE). I let the fuel level go down to 25 MTE, but still didn't get the POI on the navigation unit. – Roger Wilson, on November 14, 2008 17:48

Lesley, if you're looking for alpha or beta testers, I'd be glad to volunteer. Although I have not done any beta testing on the iphone platform, I am experienced with beta testing on many different platforms.

Roger Wilson reported a problem in Apple on September 17, 2008 03:34:

Unable to update App Store applications on my iPhone.

Installing new applications works fine.

If I try to update an application via the iPhone I get a message indicating the update will happen during my next sync. But when I try to update an existing iPhone application from iTunes I get a 0xE8000005 error.

As a work around, I can delete the application from the iPhone, sync, then re-enable the application in iTunes. This re-installs the application, but without any data!

For cars equipped with Ford Sync, it would be cool if the navigation unit would automatically display gas station points-of-interest (POI) when the fuel level is low.
