Changing permissions mid-flow seems like a lot of trouble for little gain. Also, I don't see the mismatch. "Only when you ask us to" means just that - when we start posting for users we'll always ask them first.

We're likely to add the option to update Twitter via OAuth later, so we've requested update permissions now.

We might also add options to favourite things in Twitter, or follow people on Twitter that you found on amplus.

Yeup, that would indeed be ideal. We talked about doing it as you describe, but have not got there yet...

Improve browser support

We're working on improving how Amplus looks and works in various browsers.

Firefox works nicely already, but we could do better in IE (top priority), Safari 4.0 (next priority) and Chrome (3rd priority). Probably others too.

An upgrade to the current carousel code is the first step.

We'll be presenting a proper error message if we can't handle your video.

There's a list of supported video sources in an FAQ answer. We should probably explain exactly which pages the bookmark works on too (Typically it's the page with the video on it, but not a tag, genre, playlist etc page).

Update "time since added" every so often, so the times don't become inaccurate if you leave the page open.
