Hi Nate, perhaps you didnt read my Post or i didnt made myself clear enough. As (as it seams) several Persons report this Problem, it seams to be a Problem with Xmarks. Resetting the Firefoxprofile is not an acceptable Option then.

What would be acceptable, adding the missing strings (if there are any) via about:config or any other way, because somehow the Passwords have to be stored.

I have that problem too. Deinstalled xmarks several times (deleting entries in prefs.js as well) but xmark is stuck. In the Setup- Assistant, after loggin into my account it only shows a nearly blank screen (except the Xmark- logo on the upper left corner).

The Preference- Windows doesnt react on the Ok- or Cancel button and setting the Pin for password-sync doesnt stop loading.

As it seams this is a foxmark issue and the solution cant be reseting the firefox profiles. Or do you think it would be a reasonable way to reinstall your OS when a third party software doesnt run because of a bug..

But Perhaps knowing how to add pin and password via about:config would help a lot
