Great list - thanks both!
I've had exactly the same problem as you Ricky - we're thinking about adding a daily digest but that's a bit tricky to do quickly. And RSS of comments is a must.
Thanks for bearing with us - it's all a bit beta, but I'll make as many of these happen as quickly as possible :-)

Stef Lewandowski replied on December 24, 2008 12:47 to the idea "State your location" in I So Wish:
Hi! Great idea - I was thinking the same thing. Some actually involve two locations I've noticed. I'm thinking:
"This wish is about a place"
Drops down a little panel
"Add a place" - By address / Click on a map
Then you could get wishes by location in lots of ways. "Wishes near this one" and so on...

Stef Lewandowski asked a question in Odadeo on December 08, 2008 19:35:
Do you have a suggestion for Tweetlet? We'd really like to hear your suggestions for Tweetlet. Or problems, things that are wrong, things that are right, anything you think we need to do to make this better!
Stef Lewandowski replied on December 02, 2008 21:57 to the problem "ODADEO is not ready for public users.." in Odadeo:
Hi First Timer, I can certainly appreciate your frustration - I've had this kind of thing happen to me in the past. We've tested the site on lots of different combinations of browsers and operating systems but because we're still in beta there are bound to still be a few problems as we develop and release new things on the site.
What would really help me solve the problem is just a bit of info from you - a time when you tried to log in and it didn't work so I can look at the log files, your browser version (Internet Explorer 6.0 for instance) and what operating system you are using (Eg. Windows XP).
Sorry you've had trouble - we're doing our best to make sure the site works well for everyone.
If you'd like me to turn off the daily updates for you in the mean time please send me an email to stef@odadeo.com and I'll either remove your user or just turn the notifications off - whichever you want.
Sorry for causing you a nuisance,
Stef

Stef Lewandowski replied on December 02, 2008 19:49 to the idea "What about Moms?" in Odadeo:
That's a very good point and something I considered at length before launching Odadeo.
As a dad I found that most sites that are about parenting are quite rightly aimed at both moms and dads equally. The trouble is that on some of those sites (which are doing a great job!) there's a tendency for the moms to be noisier and the dads to feel a little sidelined (that's very generalised, I know).
It's not the fault of the moms, nor the sites themselves - it just seems that that happens quite often, and so I thought that building a really great site for dads, with a different way of doing things, and lots of useful web tools would be a good idea.
So we're trying this out with dads in mind right now, but yes you're right: I'm sure there's going to be some great stuff on Odadeo that works for any parent.
We've already built in different profile types into the Odadeo system - moms, kids, grandparents, they're just not live on the site yet!
Maybe you'd like to help us beta test some ideas?

Hi Josh. Wow - that does concern me. I'm on the case right now to get that fixed for you. It sounds like something must have gone slightly wrong when you deleted the account and the email details were retained in our newsletter mailer application. That shouldn't happen and we'll test it fully so that this doesn't affect anyone else.
Thanks for letting us know.

Stef Lewandowski replied on November 21, 2008 12:29 to the problem "I cant log in!" in Odadeo:
Hi Shropdad, we're going to fully test this on all browsers again. I use Safari all the time, but it looks like something isn't working properly here. For now you can use the 'simple' version of our login page here: http://odadeo.com/login
Sorry and thanks for letting us know!
Stef Lewandowski replied on November 19, 2008 12:30 to the problem "Redundant badge groups" in Odadeo:
Thanks for the great suggestion Ben - I'm going to do exactly that. Half way there, and we should have improved text search appearing everywhere on the site from now on. We're using Mysql 5 for this site which has some great new functions like "Sounds like" searches.
Rtzee - you'll see that you now only have one of those duplicate badges showing, and I'm working on improving that part of the signup process too to make it much more obvious. Thanks for pointing it out!

Stef Lewandowski replied on November 17, 2008 20:14 to the question "Are you getting too many emails?" in Odadeo:
Thanks Phil. We've now reduced all the 'same badge as you' and the 'same pledge as you' notifications and will send out an email once per day in a daily digest by default, which you can turn off, or set to weekly, as you want.
Hope that helps! We'll also add a welcome email over the next week too...
