Marking tax returns as complete early
FreeAgent correctly calculated that I was due a tax refund. I've submitted my tax return received the refund now. How can I tell FreeAgent not to show the return on my home page any more?

Estimates do provide a useful tool for tracking future work. I also have relationships with potential clients which are more vague than estimate, but I like to track when I last contacted them, keep notes about our discussions etc. I currently use a simple pipeline in an Excel sheet for this, a very cut-down version of tools like SalesForce.

I think FreeAgent's advantage is that it covers the full cycle of freelance work from customer acquisition to tax return. A lightweight sales pipeline built into FreeAgent would be a useful tool for me.

Great to have you back, new version is looking cool. Particularly happy about user pages! Data is very old at the moment, are you using Gnip?

  • problem

afternoon reported a problem in Real Incentives on May 27, 2008 10:06:

    afternoon
    Disappointing support
I've been generating signups for the DVD rental service LOVEFiLM for over a year and had made 13 referrals, the number required for my chosen gift, an iPhone. I was required to submit these for approval to Real Incentives in order to claim my gift. 3 were placed on hold due to alleged violations of the terms and conditions. I wasn't notified about this, neither were the referees whose accounts had been placed on hold. No reasons have been given. Myself and the referees contacted Real Incentives through their support forum. We were met with stonewalling, very few replies were received and did not help us work out the problem or try to resolve it. After around a month of waiting, I gave up and changed my gift to a lower value one.
