With no offense intended to ono_matope, Favotter isn't really cutting it for me. I like it, but it misses favorites quite often. Is Twitter still making forward motion on this request?

Fwiw... blocking counts for something when a spam report is logged for a particular account. As part of their evaluation of that account, Twitter support looks at the number of times that the account was blocked by other people.

Thanks, KC. I understand the bogging down, and I understand that it's annoying wading through the emails, but I wonder if blocking them accomplishes anything.

I agree with your suggestion about including follower counts, etc., in the email notification.

Let me add to the suggestion that twitter could include the number of people the requester already follows, and is followed by, to help us gauge if this person is real or just a spambot.

Okay, seems like the biggest problems are over. Twhirl gets updates nicely now, and the webpage seems allright aswell. There still is a five hour hole in my timeline though...

While it seems to be up and about for me now, it was not working a few days ago. Perhaps it's a traveling issue, if such a preposterous idea could occur.
