I also came from Twitterific and don't want Tweetie cluttering up my dock. It's the only item on my menubar that doesn't have a dropdown menu. Tweetie is a utility that shouldn't be included in Expose or cmd-tab list. Why can't you move the menubar menus into the menubar icon? Quicksilver windows work fine without a dock icon.
"New Direct Message", "New VIdeo Tweet", "Refresh", "About" and "Preferences" and "Print" are, afaict, the only menu items not somewhere else in the UI. The only menu item I've used so far was Preferences, to edit account settings and try to hide the Dock icon.

alanjcastonguay replied on March 28, 2009 11:25 to the idea "Device independence. 'Send to iPhone' button on Google Maps" in Google:
The other non-email "Send to" features in Google Maps seem intended to get your location to another device you control. The "Send to Email" feature seems intended to share the location with other people.
Currently I use "Send to Email", and enter an address that's checked by my iPhone. Then I click that link to open it in Google Maps on the phone. However, it's a pain to have to retype the email address every time. It would be nice to have Google Maps remember preset email addresses to send to, possibly using the Address Book / Contacts from GMail.
A better solution would be to add "Phones" or "Cars" to the list that are just arbitrary preset emails rather than a device-specific protocol.-
