Hi there -- I am having a problem with my Pings that I hope you can help with?

Over the past few days, I have noticed that if I try to incorporate my current location using the Brightkite facility, it is not working properly.

What happens is:
*if I have been checked-in at "Horley" (I live in the UK) and I add the following to the end of my Ping "@l Tolworth"
* I am checked in to the correct location first, i.e. Tolworth
* but then the post I am currently making shows the location I WAS previously checked-in at, i.e. Horley

This facility was working fine before, and has only stared not to work correctly over the past few days.

Since I last posted here, the "glitch" I was experiencing seems to have "gone away", as I am now able to add feeds to my account :) I don't know what the problem was, and I will let you know if it "comes back". Hi Jason -- Yes, I just saw the feed http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod.rss "appear" :) I have been adding feeds today, and it is only this afternoon that I started getting this error message.

I have been trying to add the following feed as well, but keep getting the same error message: http://page2rss.com/rss/f272435038f16...

1. I am doing the following: I go to the following page in my account: http://www.notify.me/user/source/list ;
2. Next, I paste the feed in the "Feed" box at the top of the webpage;
3. Next, I click on the "Add Feed" button;
4. Next, the error message appears in a yellow "band" above the "Feed" box.

I hope this helps, and look forward to hearing back from you when you ahve been able to look into this problem further.

Hi there -- I hope you can help? I am trying to add the following RSS feed to my account: http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod.rss

Every time I do, however, I keep getting the following error message: "Error adding site - Try again later". Thgis has been the case over the past few hours.

Is this a problem with my account, the website or the RSS feed? I don't think it is the feed, however, as the same feed works fine in my bloglines account.

UPDATE: Since making the above entry, I have tried adding a different feed to my account...and I get the same error message. Is this a problem with the website?

I should mention the following: I deleted the RSS feeds that I was subscribed to, and the mailbox they were feeding...so they are no longer feeding my Inbox or the Inbox they related to. I would have thought this would have "cleared" the problem, but it has not :( Could you keep me updated on solving this problem? Thanks, AlanLB.

I have tried doing what you suggested, but it did not work I am afraid :(

I have also cleared my: history, cache and cookies...but this has not cleared the problem either.

My Inbox is still indicating that I have 6 emails in it, when it is empty!

Can you suggest anything else/do anything else to sort out this problem for me?

Inbox Email Indicator Error

The Email Indicator which appears next to my Inbox, and which is
supposed to show how many new/unread emails I have in my Inbox, is
currently showing "6" when there are no new/unread emails in my Inbox!

Is anybody else having this problem, and/or know how it can be
corrected?

I hope someone can help with this :(
