Tr.im seems very stable now, with clear plans for their future.
It was - arguably - 'unprofessional' of tr.im to give warning about a potential change, that in the end they appear to have averted.
However, for TwitterFeed to have withdrawn the link, and not to have re-instated it over 3 months later when the tr.im service continues to work well, does not look very professional, either. It seems a shame that those of us who previously preferred to use it, no longer even have it as an option in TwFd, when the service is in full operation.
Please re-instate again it soon, or at least give us a reasoned update as to why you continue to feel you can't, in case we need to make alternative plans for feeding our tweets through tr.im.-

Alastair asked a question in LifeChurch.tv on September 22, 2009 11:09:
Pinch Media library?Reviewer 'TheOriginalCoda' notes in their review of the YouVersion/LifeChurch iPhone Bible app on the iTunes App Store back in April 2009 that:
[Bible] "Contains a library called "Pinch Media" which uploads your usage data (including your unique iphone ID and location) whenever you use the app. Thing is, it didn't ask your permission to do that, and neither did it inform you it was doing that."
I could not see on there a response from YouVersion or LifeChurch as to:
the validity of the claim;
why 'Bible' needs the PinchMedia library; or
what policies you may have to make it clear you are gathering that data, and why?
Thanks

UK, other, address formats pleaseThe 'State' section on the address pane (billing) only allows for US States, which isn't much use in the UK and elsewhere.
Encouraging global usage!

Sorted it on web - I was using OpenId as Laconi.ca login initially; not really possible with Ping.fm's interface. – Alastair, on March 20, 2009 17:53
