Hi Kimmie, I do understand, it's just a bit frustrating sometimes. Thank you – Albert, on December 08, 2009 11:29

Show daily stats in sidebar and pageviews in post footersI would like to share my stats with my readers. I would like to place a widget in the sidebar that shows how many pageviews and/or visitors I've had during the day or week, with a link to the stats so readers can check by themselves (if I allow the data to be public).
Also, it would be great if I can show in each post footer how many views each specific post have had. So next to Comments and Trackbacks there would be a note indicating "234 users have read this post" or "234 views".
High figures will tend to attract more users. It is a way to signal the blog's success.
What do you think?

Post published with wrong date in my feedMi last post:
http://www.albertesplugas.com/blog/20...
has been published with a wrong date in Feedburner.
Published date according to Typepad is: Tuesday, 17 November, 2009, 17.00
which is correct
Published date according to Feedburner is (http://feeds.feedburner.com/albertesp...): Sunday, 15 November, 2009, 19.33
which is when I created the draft
Please fix this ASAP because most of my traffic comes from a blog agreggator that takes the new posts from the feed, and if the date is old the post won't show up in the aggregator.
I've opened a ticket too, but I need this fixed ASAP (and the post to show the actual published date, of course).
Thank you

Authority dropped to 1 too, and I'm getting several links from other blogs as usual (I had around 40 authority before the changes).
Also, I'm unable to update the site information from the Edit Site Info (the system doesn't save my changes, I tried several times)
This has been going on for weeks

Please can you index my blog again? It has authority 1 and I can't update the information from the Site Details (the system doesn't save it)

Automatic Server PingingIs there anything like that in Typepad? If not, I think this is a must... I've been pinging some aggregators manually for a while and this would be a much easier way.

I copy from there:
===============
One of the less obvious features available in Windows Live Writer is the ability to automatically ping (send a signal) to popular blog aggregators every time you publish something to your blog. This feature actively pings the servers of the blog aggregators you specify and to indicate when there is new material.
To use this feature in Writer click on Ping Servers in the Options dialog (navigation: Tools | Options | Ping Servers). Then add the names of the servers you want to ping.
Some names of some popular search engines you could choose are:
http://rpc.technorati.com/rpc/ping
http://blogsearch.google.com/ping/RPC2
http://ping.feedburner.com
http://rpc.icerocket.com:10080
http://services.newsgator.com/ngws/xm...
http://api.feedster.com/ping.php
=================
Also, Twingly says Typepad allows automatic pings but as far as I know that's not true
http://www.twingly.com/faq
See below:
===================
Add http://rpc.twingly.com/ to your blog tool's list of ping services. That way, Twingly will be notified every time you write a new blog post.
Blog platforms that support automatic pings:
* Wordpress
* B2
* Movable Type
* Typepad-

Automatic trackbacks for linked posts from your own blogSome of us reference frequently to other posts we have written. I link to them in a post, sometimes manually adding a "Related entries" list.
Then, I publish the post and I send a trackback to all the related entries that I link to in the current one. It would be very convenient if the system just does it for you: when you link to another entry published a while back, Typepad automatically sends a trackback to the old linked entries (when you publish the current one).
Also, some way to automatically generate related entries would be cool, but this may be another feature.

I have this problem again: http://getsatisfaction.com/sixapart/t...
My lasts 3 posts have not been shared with Facebook. Please can you fix it ASAP?
I didn't do anything unusual. I'll try now to re-publish them ticking the Facebook box manually, but please note that the automatic sharing is not working for me.
Thank you,

Hi Kimmie,
I have exactly the same problem I reported in the other thread months ago. I was resolved then (I opened a ticket and they said they made some changes) but apparently the bug is back...
1) Yes, usually the process is: I write a draft, then I save it as draft. Later on, I amend the draft etc. and publish it from the Compose screen. It has worked fine for months until now.
2) Usually I have no delay, but this time Facebook didn ́t show my posts from the day before, so there was a gap of at least 12 hours. I had to tick manually the Facebook box and re-publish the post. Then it does come up, but only after ticking the box and publish it again.
I will publish another post soon, I ́ll let you know then if it is sharing again or not... Fingers crossed.
Thank you
