Default TabI would like for reQall to open my todo tab when I log in to the website. I do not like the Memory Jogger because I don't really use places or specific times, so my here and now is almost always empty. Hopefully, in the future, you can add an option for us to choose which tab opens by default.-

Hi Christine, yes I did try the Outlook sync, but have reformatted my computer since then, and haven't even installed Outlook yet, so I'm not sure if that could be it or not. Unless, the initial Outlook sync I did somehow changed the settings for reminders in ReQall that would still be affected. I'm not sure.
I wish I could remember if these early reminders came before the outlook sync or not.-

Ok, Im bringing this up again. I turned off my eureqa reminders thinking that might have been why I was getting reminders way too early. I have reminders set to come 15 minutes prior to due time, and those reminders sent to both, IM and text messages on my phone.
I am still getting reminders way too early. For example, I have "change the oil in the van every three months." I changed the oil on Oct. 30. My next oil change is due Jan. 30 and I just got a reminder asking if it was done yet. If a task has a specific due date and time, and I have my reminders set for 15 min. prior, why am I getting reminders 3 months early?
I'm sending you an emai,l Jessi (titled early reminders) to see if perhaps I've gotten something set up wrong.
I have a horrible memory, and don't mind being reminded of things with no particular due date or time or even of shopping items, but things like my oil change, or refill the kids minutes on their phones that are due in three months, I don't want to have reminders every single day about.
Thanks for all your help!

I tried the outlook sync this morning and it wasn't a success. I did not want holidays in ReQall, and I had lots of completed things syncing as well. When I deleted the holidays from ReQall, it synced and deleted them from Outlook as well! Luckily, I use Google Calendar sync and it put all my holidays back in Outlook for me.
I am excited to see the app though, and I think it will eventually be great! I have uninstalled it for now, but will certainly try it out again with future updates.
I do think it's important to make the app customizable so we can choose what we want to sync and what we don't such as holidays and completed to dos.

Hi Jessi!
I do have the daily memory jog enabled, which comes as an email in the mornings. I also have my eureqa! set to once a day. Perhaps it was that. However, I have deleted the event and re-entered it and so far, no notifications.
At this point, no need to look into anything. I'm really just starting to invest in ReQall and getting to know my way around.
Thanks for your reply and all the help you give out here on the forum. It's much appreciated!

Reminders way too earlyI have a reoccurring event. Give William (my cat) his heartworm pill every month on the 9th. I've been getting reminders (2 now) sent out on IM and text for this event even though it is not due until Nov. 9. Should I be getting reminders that early on? I have the same exact thing for my dog and I haven't gotten a reminder for him and don't expect to until the 16th when his HW pill is due.
I responded yes to the "is this done yet" IM and that just made the next due date in Jan. so I deleted the whole event and re-entered it. I'm just curious if it was a fluke, or if it's common for reminders to come out so early. I have my setting to remind me 15 minutes prior to due time.

Horrible audio, great transcription!Good job ReQall! I phoned in a reminder earlier and noticed it took a little longer than normal to post. When it did post, the audio was so choppy it was almost unintelligible. ReQall got the transcription almost 100%. I am amazed considering the quality of the audio! I'm not sure what's going on with my phone tonight, but ReQall managed to figure out what I was trying to remind myself to do! :-)-
