Great news for Gosia! what a relief!

As for me and perhaps others... dunno.

Just wanted to mention that the above error on line 292 is also showing up for me when dealing with a problem with the Media Bar and email not working.

... just noticed they're all the same. got the error message 10 times after clicking on the button to open the media bar.

Please note that the only way for me to close the media bar, that I've found, is to go to View-> Minibar-> and deselect the media bar. That is...clicking on the X to close the media bar does not work (and doesn't send an error to the error console either.).

Now I will try something else...
I opened the sidebar and entered into the Flickr area where I can see my Flickr contacts. I click on one and go to their flickr page and click on the Media button in the sidebar next to flickr contact's name to open up the media in the media bar...and the following errors show up in the error console:

I get it twice

this is also one of two errors that get reported with the problem of the favorites not working.

I cleared the error console and on this page (after clearing out all the errors flock encountered trying to render its own support page...hahaha) I clicked on Favorites ->Favorite This Page. It, of course, did not work, but it did yield the following codes in the error console:

I hope that this data can assist you in analyzing the problem.

First off to Gosia:

I am at a loss trying to understand what you are discussing. It seems like you are commenting more about missing an extension in Flock than about having a problem regarding the malfunctioning of the favorites add/edit routines. I am happy that you've discovered what happened to your missing add-on. Did your ability to use the favorites come back?? How odd.

Next to Evan:

It didn't work.

This morning I fired up Flock and disabled all of my extensions (wot, openid, delicious) and restarted Flock. The problem with the favorites was still there. Too bad...though I like all of those extensions I would have been willing to part with one to get my bookmarking ability back.

So this problem still needs to be fixed.

Thanks for the suggestion Evan but I'm using version 2.5. I didn't have a problem with favorites until I got version 2.5.

The extensions I am using are WOT (Web Of Trust), Delicious Bookmarks, and Open ID for flock. I have not tried disabling these. I may try disabling them tomorrow to see if it makes a difference. Thanks for the suggestion.

I would like to see Flock fix this problem with the next update if possible. Being able to bookmark a favorite is an important feature of a browser and having to only use delicious tagging as a substitute is getting old.

this morning i discovered a work-around that worked for me:

click on View -> Sidebars -> Favorites.

this will open up your list of favorites on left. Expand folders if you need to for the site you want to bookmark.

Highlight the url of the website in the address bar then left-click and drag the url into the favorite folder on the left.

This worked for me and I successfully bookmarked the website. The problem does indeed persist in this manner as well when it comes to wanting to EDIT the properties of this new favorite. Right-clicking on the link in the favorites list to select "properties" yields nothing...can't do it.

but try this ...the dragging to favorites sidebar worked for me.
it'll do until Flock comes out with a fix for this awful problem.
