Hey guys, love this product so far. I think its going great places. Just an idea i want to share with you guys.

On windows I use this other media player without naming names that has a feature I love and one where I find it hard to switch over the songbird fulltime.

Basically, it takes all my media, flac, m4a, mp3, wateva and then lets me choose a bitrate, lets say mp3 192 and whenever i transfer that song over to a device, it will make sure the file is at least that format. So i handle all my flac with it, which is amazing and it auto converts those files to the mp3 192 which then gets transfered to the device. Its actually a pretty fast process and I find it helps me out a lot!

So in short form:
source file --> flac
ipod supports --> mp3
trying to transfer flac to ipod
songbird autoconverts
songbird transfers

What do you guys thinks? Possible for the future? The cd rip feature is going to come soon right? does anyone think that using chunks of the cd rip technology would work for this?
