Jim, i appreciated your answer. Thank you for your time. Well, i really love this add-on, but when i already know this step-by-step described by you. But, it doesnt work for me. Every time Lineked In disappear, i cant see it in the "Tools\Trust Center\Add-ins". it disappear from there too. Well, i am not using this addon. Today i am useing Xobni add on. This add on scan all your e-mails and detect which has Lineked In Profiles. Its cool and do not disappear. ;-)-

Alex Albuquerque asked a question in LinkedIn on March 26, 2009 07:28:
Why LinkedIn Outlook toolbar disappear from Outlook 2007 everytime i restart my PC?Everytime i restart my Windows Vista, i have to reinstall LinkedIn Outlook Toolbar again. I'd been trying a lot of possibilities, such as: 1) Disabling anti virus; 2) Disabling anti spyware; 3) Check if the LinkedIn OLTB are blocked into Outlook as "Disabled Itens" (it do not). I dont know where to find. I can close and open Outlook how many times i wish, but if i shutdown my PC and restart, LinkedIn OLTB disappear and i have to re-install. Could someone help me with any way to follow?

Well, i am here again. I did the tests mentioned in my last post.
Test 1
Disabling Avast anti-virus ans Microsoft Windows Defender anti-spyware.
Result: Fail - Flock isn't my default browser!
Test 2
Uninstall Firefox.
Result: Fail - Flock isn't my default browser! Now, Internet Explorer assumes the situation as my default browser.
Test 3
Edit registry, manually.
Result: Running, not results yet.
Sincerely, it seems an incapacity of Flock to auto setup as default browser in Windows Vista. Maybe, Flock can't pass thought Windows Vista administrative privileges.
I am still looking for any solution...
Now.. going to install Firefox again...

I am having the same problem too. And i want to participate of this discussion trying to understand and solve the problem. I really believe in Flock and adopted it as my default browser. But, my SO don't do this.
My specifications:
. Windows Vista Home Premium, Service Pack 1
. Flock 2.0.3
. Firefox 3.0.6
Other browsers installed:
. Internet Explorer 7
. Google Chrome 1.0.154.48
. Safari 3.2.2
. Opera 9.63
Already tried, without any good result:
. All the tips in this post, each one;
. Set Firefox default browser check off;
. Change manually file type associations (I.e: *.html) pointing all to open in Flock;
Nothing seems to solve the problem.
I was thinking about: The default browser setup is a windows registry information. Maybe, something are blocking changes into registry, such as anti-virus, anti-spyware, etc. I will try something:
1) Disable anti-vírus and anti-spyware and try to set Flock as default;
2) Uninstall Firefox, set Flock as default and install Firefox again.
3) Edit manually registry setting Flock as default directly into registry (desesperated and my last alternative)
I will post the results here soon.
