Thanks for your Support; Now that we have customers behind this idea it would be great to see the company as enthused as we are – Alexander, on November 04, 2009 22:29
Alexander asked a question in Songbird on September 13, 2009 17:54:
Duplicate Songs in Library when adding same song to playlistHere are a couple of links that show the same problem; however these are old versions with old windows (Win XP)
The screen speaks for it self...when i drag a song from songbirds library to a playlist it doubles the entry in the library.
Version: Songbird 1.2.0, Build 1146
Tested on: Windows 7 build 7600 (aka retail release)
Windows Vista Ultimate
Song bird addons: None
Songbird Installation: Fresh install (starting from formatted HD)

Fixed it!
There all MP3 format (Grips i thought the same thing)
I found out after you uninstall songbird it DOESN'T remove your profile (AKA meta data is not removed) Under mydocuments/appdata/local/songbird....i deleted everything then reinstalled. ALL data syncs great!
Also for you people who are tech geeks; i reinstalled the same version (so it was not a bug with that version)

Skype Spell CheckerWhat about Skype Spell Check. I think its fair to say that MOST of the people using Skype are business oriented in which case miss-spelling are really embarrassing (yes we all make them)
Here are two threads on Skypes official site: Notice they all requested spell checker back in 2004

A comment on the problem "I am unable to get MTP to work with my WindowsMobile 6.1 mobile phone" in Songbird:
Hello,
First off, it seems if you get songbird to see the device you cannot sync it, so dont get your hopes up.
I currently do not use active sync (running vista and windows 7). To answer your question, you do not need any special settings. Make sure its connected (you can see the drive in explorer). It doesnt matter if you have songbird open or closed (no specific order). – Alexander, on January 16, 2009 09:55

I have the same exact setup, many computers (laptops, Windows mobile, home server, and more importantly media center) after installing windows 7 today on the media center i felt like all my work was lost.
What work?
All the ratings, organizing and making play lists from my music collection. The golden question i have (with so many computers) how do i share everything but keep all the data/settings the same?
Today my brother came over with his laptop and wanted a couple of play lists from my computer. Today my wife wanted to listen to this "new" album i bought (on my computer).
how do i share everything but keep all the data/settings the same?
