yet another tracking service www.easytracking.deWhile browsing around the site I work for I noticed another tracking service that is used on a subdomain, www.easytracking.de
The URL of the pages using it is http://reisebuero.arcor.de/

I wonder if this is related to this issue: http://getsatisfaction.com/thinglabs/... – Alexander Lehmann, on December 01, 2009 12:36

the odd thing is that it works with some of the images, some don't. All links are bit.ly links generated by Twitter – Alexander Lehmann, on December 01, 2009 12:34

plain domain names do not get converted to clickable links, a link like www.imdb.com isn't clickable, but http://www.imdb.com is

I looked a bit futher into the structure error and I think the mime boundaries are mixed up:
Content-Type: multipart/alternative;boundary="----=_NextPart_fB.Cg9S12tIN_7VUC1Uo3HW9Y"
This is a multi-part message in MIME format.
------=_NextPart_r_HUPG7GTY4E.B9AAFURrcmPd
Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="----=_NextPart_fB.Cg9S12tIN_7VUC1Uo3HW9Y"
------=_NextPart_fB.Cg9S12tIN_7VUC1Uo3HW9Y
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8; format=flowed
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
...
------=_NextPart_fB.Cg9S12tIN_7VUC1Uo3HW9Y
Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
...
------=_NextPart_fB.Cg9S12tIN_7VUC1Uo3HW9Y--
the boundary ending with Y is probably correct, but it is mentioned again in the content type of the first part, which is probably not right.
the boundary ending with d is not mentioned anywhere else, so it will be ignored.

the brizzly link is http://brizzly.com/#twitter/-/user/arcorde_aktuell
this seems to alternate, some images show when loading the profile page, some show on my page
Alexander Lehmann asked a question in Thing Labs on November 28, 2009 23:26:
Previewing images from bit.ly links only works in some of the casesWhen viewing tweets that include bit.ly links to images, only a few of the tweets display the images.
I have written a rss to twitter feed for the site I work for that includes the article links and a link to the article image (i.e. the image enclosure from the feed item), that works in some cases but not in all, either this is a load problem (maybe even at our site) or the preview is not working in all cases.
The example feed is twitter.com/arcorde_aktuell

b.scorecardresearch.com is currently not detectedb.scorecardresearch.com is currently not detected, the fact that the javascript file for this is actually called beacon.js doesn't improve my trust of this domain :-)
this is for example used on http://news.cnet.com/8301-13578_3-103...

kissmetrics.com not detectedvark.com apparently uses a new tracking service called kissmetrics.com, looks like mint
Alexander Lehmann reported a problem in Ghostery on October 25, 2009 20:39:
paste2.org mint stats not detectedI think Mint is sometimes detected, but on paste2.org there seems to be a mint script that is not detected.

Plinky emails do not display on BlackBerryPlinky emails do not display on the BlackBerry, I assume that this an format error in the mail with the mime structure that breaks message parsing on the BB gateway service.

I think this can be considered a feature of Omniture, if the customer chooses, they can use their own domain and create a subdomain to point to the Omniture server, e.g. ping metrics.apple.com
Ping wird ausgeführt für appleglobal.112.2o7.net [66.235.132.152] – Alexander Lehmann, on October 16, 2009 22:17

Omniture pixel on xing.comxing.com is using Omniture based on their own sub-domain, i.e. natsp.xing.com/b/ss/xingcomprod/ which is in fact a Omniture IP
this is probably difficult to detect since it isn't the 2o7 domain, but maybe you can detect this based on the individual subdomain

new tracker *.inq.comI have found a new tracking tool on the webpage of my company. *.inq.com
this is apparently a customer support tool that tracks if the user is having problems finding the info they are looking for.
as an example take a look at www.vodafone.de

Add tracking/ad domain ligatus.comOne tracking/ad domain we use is ligatus.com which seems to be used often on German web pages (e.g. rtl.de)
Could you add that to the database?
(e.g. http://www.rtl.de/rtlaktuell/rtl_aktu... )
