A comment on the question "Route picture to multiple destinations" in Pixelpipe:
Hm, and how do I actually make this work?
Suppose I've got a picture that I want pixelpipe to route to box.net (@box) and drop.io (@io).
What do I have to enter as tags?
Tried and failed with:
- @io @box
- @io,box
What's the correct syntax? NB:I do not want to pre-setup a pipe/tag which is only assigned to box.net and drop.io.
For your reference, I send in http://pixelpipe.com/item/f84ae7f9-97... and had the tags "@io and @box" assigned when I uploaded the picture from my iPhone using your iPhone app. But the picture has been sent to ALLmy destinations, not just box.net and drop.io. – Alexander, on June 22, 2009 16:29

pi.pe uses an invalid security certificateHi.
The pixelpipe webpage is also reachable via http://pi.pe/. When trying to signin from that page, Firefox shows:
Secure Connection Failed
pi.pe uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is only valid for the following names:
www.pixelpipe.com , pixelpipe.com
(Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)
It would be great, if either the certificate would be valid for pi.pe as well or if the signin form directs to https://pixelpipe.com/signin, in which case the problem also wouldn't exist.
IMO it would be cooler, though, if http://pi.pe/ would work as well. It's shorter and uses a nice "foreign" TLD.

Route picture to multiple destinationsHello.
Is there a way to send a picture to multiple destinations?
I know about http://blog.pixelpipe.com/2008/08/30/... and do know that I can assign multiple routing tags to a destination and thus could eg. assign the tag "photo" to lets say flickr and photobucket. Then I could use the tag @photo and pixelpipe would send the picture (or upload, in general) to flickr and photobucket.
But is there a way to select that while sending the picture? Ie. when sending the picture, I'd like to assign the tags "photobucket" and "flickr" to the picture and pixelpipe should then send the picture to pb and flickr.
This would allow for greater flexibility.
Basically, I'm asking for a way to configure the pipe while routing the picture.
Can that be done?
Thanks,
Alexander

Adding text when using iPhone AppHello.
I just uploaded my first picture using the iPhone App 1.4.1. The Pipe I sent it to sends the picture to yfrog which then also creates a Twitter tweet about the new upload; see http://twitter.com/alexs77/status/225... for the result.
As you can see there, the only "real" text in the Tweet is the name of the picture; ie. img_0011.jpg and also the yfrog URL → http://yfrog.com/18qpfj.
That's not so great...
What's the way to add text to it?
Is the only way to do this to click on the blue right arrow and then enter something for „Title“, „Caption“ and/or „Keywords“?
Seems a bit "complicated".

Sharing via Twitter doesn't workHi.
I just setup a Soup at http://alexs77.soup.io/. When I click on "Verbreiten" (distribute? share? - that thing, which is implemented using addthis.com...) on a delicious imported link, it takes me to http://alexs77.soup.io/www.addthis.co... and this gives me a 404 error:
The page you were looking for doesn't exist.

well, in the first post, it says "or unreadable" - this pretty much fits to my report :) – Alexander, on May 28, 2009 18:52
A comment on the question "When update by e-mail, international characters are truncated..." in Ping.fm:
UTF8 isn't the issue here - as you can see, ping.fm posts "schönes", which is broken UTF8.
But in the "source" of the email, there's eg:
------=_Part_6790_20532905.1243534960710
Content-Type: text/plain; name=Text01.txt; charset=utf-8
Content-ID: <text01>
Content-Location: Text01.txt
Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="Text01.txt"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
Bl=C3=A4tte=
As you can see, the "attachment" is UTF8 encoded.
And also the subject is properly encoded:
Subject: =?utf-8?Q?Bl=C3=B6d?=
So, I doubt that this is because of some client misconfiguration.
Do you decode UTF-8 properly?</text01> – Alexander, on May 28, 2009 18:28

The problem indeed still exists.
See http://ping.fm/p/SaF8i
It's shown as " Also, schönes Wetter sieht anders aus :( ". "schönes" should be "schönes". On Twitter http://twitter.com/alexs77/status/193... and on Plurk http://www.plurk.com/p/witkz, the ö isn't destroyed, though.

Entering text in search box takes me to install pageI'm using "Firefox" 3.0.10 on an ArchLinux install. There, it calls itself "GranParadiso" and the user agent string is
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042810 GranParadiso/3.0.10
I installed Juice 1.1 BETA, because 1.0 doesn't install on Firefox, saying that 1.0 is only for Firefox (which is "somewhat" strange, because I *am* using Firefox...).
Anyway. Because 1.0 doesn't install, I installed 1.1 BETA. When I now enter something (eg. "what the heck") in the search box, it takes me to http://grabjuice.com/?kw=what+the+heck, see:
I doubt that this is right :)

Same problem again :(
@mein_feed_konto now (should) fetch http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/pipe.run?_id=26e99e7e7.... This pipe calls http://krz.ch/dropbo.... Having had a look on krz.ch, I see that this URL hasn't been called 10:11 (~7 hours ago). It should've been called every 345 seconds (I now changed it to 432 secodns).

Alexander reported a problem in pingvine on April 09, 2009 13:29:
URL not correctly decoded and storedHi.
For my @mein_feed_konto Twitter account, I wanted to set http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/pipe.run... as URL of the feed to use.
Did that, saw this:
If you look closely, you'll see that pingvine says, that http://pipes.yahoo.com/....&feedfile=http:///krz.... has been added. Note the 3 (three) / before the krz. And on the screenshot, you can see, that I've submitted ...feedfile=http%3A%2F%2Fkrz..., ie. just 2 (two) times %2F (/).
Now, when I go back to my account on pingvine, I see this:
There you see, that pingvine indeed stored ...http:///krz.ch/... as the URL to use.
That's wrong and consequently, pingvine didn't work for me.
Now, I replaced that URL by a shortened version using krz.ch. So, if Get Satisfaction truncates that URL, feel free to go to the http://krz.ch/ypipe-fetch-feed-file-YahooPipe-Shorten-krzcv-Feeds-entries-5 address and see where it redirects you to.
