Alexander shared an idea in pingvine on April 08, 2009 06:24:
Offer a Log FileHello.
Pingvine rather often doesn't work, as all of us know. It would be good, if you could provide some sort of logfile for the user, so that he can see what's going on.

Twitter Status is NOT updatedHello.
I see, that Pingvine (I suppose - someone with the IP 68.180.194.242 or 76.249.240.89 or 69.147.112.168) called the URL I entered in Pingvine for "mein_feed_konto" (ie. http://krz.ch/ypipe-opml-Pingvine-Feeds) at 08:07 (ie. ~15 minutes ago). There WERE updates in this feed available at that point in time.
BUT: In @mein_feed_konto, I don't see any updates from Pingvine (or, more correct, the last update has been done about 12 hours ago from Pingvine).
What's going on there?
BR,
Alexander

Hi!
Since 03:52 this morning, it is working.
Sorta :)
But for the "sorta", please see Feed isn't called in configured Update Frequency.
Thanks,

Feed isn't called in configured Update FrequencyHi.
Now that my feed is being invoked at all from Pingvine, I see that it doesn't reach the configured frequency.
For mein_feed_konto (Twitter account), I setup an Update Frequency of 4 minutes in pingvine. Pingvine then calls an URL hosted on the short url service http://krz.ch/. When I login there, I can get an access log of a short URL.
In that access log, I see that the URL isn't invoked in an interval of 4 minutes.
Is that supposed to be that way?
Cheers,
Alexander

Pingvine doesn't call URLHi.
In Pingvine, I added to my "mein_feed_konto" Twitter account the feed URL http://krz.ch/myDealZ-feeds-via-yahoo-pipes-001.
Having had a look at mein_feed_konto, I don't see ANY posings from Pingvine. And when I login to krz.ch, I don't see any hits at all from Pingvine for this shortened URL (ie. for http://krz.ch/myDealZ-feeds-via-yahoo...).
That shortened URL in the end points to a Yahoo! Pipe.
Why is that so?
Thanks,
Alexander

#schön should be #schön
I send this update in via MMS/E-Mail from my Nokia 6300.
*BUT*: When I go to my Recent Posts page at http://ping.fm/recent/, the "ö" shows up just fine. And on Twitter http://twitter.com/alexs77/status/145... it's also okay.-
