"500 Internal Server Error" when creating large BunchHi.
I just tried to create a rather large bunch on http://linkbun.ch/ and got a "500 Internal Server Error". The Bunch should consist of these URLs:

Is it possible, that this is too much for Link Bun.ch?-
Alexander started following the problem "Not receiving confirmation e-mail." in HelloTxt.
Alexander reported a problem in HelloTxt on March 28, 2009 11:45:
Setup of SMS doesn't workA number of times, I tried to setup "Update by SMS". In HelloTxt, I entered my (Swiss) mobile phone number and send a SMS to the French +33... and also to the Italian +39... phone number with the text, which is shown on my http://hellotxt.com/settings/devices/sms page.
Up to now, I have not received a (verification?) mail.
I also tried starting over. Didn't work...
And I also have sent 2 or 3 mails to feedback@hellotxt.com, but there has been no reply whatsoever from Tech Support, which makes me wonder, IF there's really a tech support.
My username on HelloTxt is 8310493.

Add feature to block feed entries / tweetsHi!
As it is right now, it's easy to make Twitterfeed only Tweet those feed entries, which have a certain "keyword".
But I'd like Twitterfeed to post every feed entry, but NOT those, which have a certain keyword.
Maybe this picture explains it a bit:
The way it's now, only the left part is implemented. I'd like to suggest to implement the right part as well.
Cheers,
Alex
A comment on the problem "Verbs in Plurks aren't highlighted" in Ping.fm:
It's not working. Please see http://www.plurk.com/p/dfnri - there, the "ist" should have been recognized as a verb and thus highlighted. – Alexander, on January 19, 2009 08:18

Plurk not updatingHi.
About 4 hours ago, I send an email to my ping.fm address to update something. That made it to Twitter → http://twitter.com/alexs77/status/112..., but not to Plurk; my Plurk username is also alexs77.
What's wrong?
Thanks,
Alexander

Verbs in Plurks aren't highlightedHello.
I posted something via the ping.fm IM client from Gmail and that got posted to Plurk as well. Text I posted:
denkt sich das man Frauen nicht wirklich verstehen kann...
Please have a look at the ping.fm generated plurk:
And compare that to how the Plurk looks like, when the Plurk is generated by the Plurk IM bot:
As you can see, when the ping.fm IM bot is used, the verb ("denkt") is NOT highlighted.
It would be nice, if that could be improved.
Cheers,
Alexander

Cool. It would be nice if that could be implemented, but if not, then it's not that terribly bad either :) – Alexander, on January 14, 2009 10:53
A comment on the idea "Store passwords of URL shortening services" in twitterfeed:
Hi.
Hm. When I setup a new feed and re-select that tr.im should be used for shortening, then the fields aren't pre-populated.
Do I understand you right, that I could leave the fields for tr.im username & password (and also twitter username & password) empty and everything would work even now? – Alexander, on January 14, 2009 09:37

Store passwords of URL shortening servicesHi.
Some URL shortening services, like tr.im, require a user name and password (at least when used through twitterfeed).
It would be good, if you'd store the username & password, so that a user doesn't have to re-enter it over and over again.
This request should also apply to all the other shortening services you support, and not just to tr.im (but if you'd just support tr.im, then I'd be very happy, as I only use tr.im *G*).
Cheers,
Alex

zi.ma gone?Hi.
You allow to shorten links using a service called "zi.ma". But that service seems to be gone.
At least right now, when I go to the zi.ma homepage, all I get is a 403-error.
If that persists, maybe you'd want to drop zi.ma from the list of shortening services?

Alex

In delicious add-on, autocompletion pop up displacedHi.
Since there's something missing from the delicious integration in Flock, I decided to install the original "Delicious Bookmarks 2.1.018" from Yahoo! in Flock as well.
It worksquite well, but when I enter some letters for the text, a pop-up box is shown, showing which of my tags match what's typed so far. Check out this:
When I use Firefox, the pop-up is, where it's supposed to be:
I know that there's probably not much that can be done about that right now, but I still wanted to bring this incompatability (?) to your attention.
Cheers,
Alexander

Services lost after Forced Service UpgradeHi.
I read in the "Flickr Fix On The Way thread, that a Forced Service Upgrade (ie. Edit → Preferences → Advanced Tab → Update → Force Service Update) might help.
I now did that and now I have a lot LESS services shown in about:webdetective.
Before I ran the update, I had:

I am using Flock 2.0.3 on an ArchLinux Linux system. I'm using what ArchLinux is distributing (ie. I didn't (by myself) go to flock.com to download and install the browser). The browser is installed as part of the distribution using their packaging tools, which means that it is installed in directories, where my normal user doesn't have write access. I ran the forced service upgrade as a normal user.
How do I get back all the services which had been lost?
I see that the original XML files like flickr.xml are stored in /usr/lib/flock/res/detect/. There's also another flickr.xml:
--($ ~)-- ls -l $(locate flickr.xml)
-rw-r--r-- 1 askwar users 13060 14. Jan 08:04 /home/askwar/.flock/browser/5de2rmgf.default/detect/flickr.xml
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 13018 29. Dez 21:35 /usr/lib/flock/res/detect/flickr.xml
askwar is my personal user account.
Thanks,
Alexander
