Hi a4agarwal, what is your typical response time on emails? I emailed in a question to help@posterous.com and would love to hear back.-

Import/find contacts from Twitter/Gmail/Linkedin etc?I've just signed in for the first time to Sprouter, and I'm feel like a loser, no one is following me and I'm not following anyone :)
I'd love to find out who I know already that is on here, e.g. could you grab all the people I follow from Twitter and other networks (gmail contacts, linkedIn, facebook) and tell me who's on Sprouter too?
Looking forward to exploring Sprouter more!

Alex Black asked a question in Balsamiq on September 22, 2009 14:09:
Unable to start Balsamiq Desktop on UbuntuI've just purchased and installed Balsamiq Desktop, I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 x64. Its created an icon under Applications -> Accessories called "Balsamiq Mockups".
1. I installed the application from here:
http://www.balsamiq.com/products/mock...
- it installed Adobe AIR, everything appeared to work ok
2. I click on the icon under Applications -> Accessories
3. My cursor goes to a busy cursor
4. I see an icon+title for a window appear on the taskbar labeled "Starting Balsamiq Mockups"
5. I don't see a window
6. After 5-10s that icon+title disappears from the taskbar, and nothing else happens, the application never opens
I expected a window to appear with the application in it.
any ideas?
Thanks!

Alex Black replied on April 07, 2009 17:21 to the problem "the "stone wall" problem" in Primal Fusion:
If you enter multiple words, sometimes Primal Fusion doesn't think those words go together, so it assumes you're talking about two different ideas and splits them apart:

In the above example, Primal Fusion split my idea "stone ferrari" into two ideas: "stone" and "ferrari". It does this because it doesn't have any data about "stone" and "ferrari" together, so by splitting it up it can provide me with some thoughts on each of those topics separately.
Currently we don't have a lot of data in the system, which causes this to happen more than we'd like.
Is this the scenario you're describing Chumakin?
I tried entering "stone wall", but I didn't see this issue. I did see two ideas called "stone wall" and a few related ideas. That happens when Primal Fusion finds multiple topics related to your single thought.

Thanks for the example, I see what you mean. You previously mentioned the idea that the software might look at your thought at the meta-level, how would that apply here?
I agree those aren't great results, hopefully we'll do better in the future as we get more data into the system (from wikipedia and from other sources) and as we improve our semantics.
If you look at the content for "future of education" you will see "School of the future" in there. Some of the others you pointed out aren't in there for various reasons, mostly I think because its not clear to the software that they are about the future, "Learning 2.0" for example.

Alex Black replied on April 02, 2009 20:23 to the problem "Notification email's not coming through" in Get Satisfaction:
I've had this problem too, I have both of these settings checked:
Notify me of all new topics in Primal Fusion
Notify me of every new topic and every new reply in Primal Fusion
I seem to receive notifications of most topics and replies, but not every single one.
For example, I didn't receive notification of this topic:
http://getsatisfaction.com/primalfusi...
Its possible it got spam-filtered out upstream of me, I'm not sure.
