recent + why do you use skribit? In the "Recent" tab on the skribit site, there is a lot of "Why do you use Skribit"s popping up as people add the widget.
My perception is that Skribit is people driven, so perhaps the "Recent" tab should filter out the "Why do you use Skribit" suggestions. I think it would be cool to NOT filter them out of the blogged tab, as I would love to read how people are using skribit. The problem at the moment is that the "Recent" tab is pretty much unblogged suggestions, and the auto "why" question is clogging that up.
What do skribiters think?

adium is weird, it replies with tweets, I can't tweet via IM. – Alison, on June 13, 2008 14:30

There is, now, a skribit endorsed hack for WP.com- check out the skribit blog:

it's an added benefit to the new RSS feed goodness they've got going.

huh. I know you can delete the blog from skribit, (http://getsatisfaction.com/skribit/to...) and remove the code from your website, and I guess disable all email notifications and just walk away from it all. This doesn't mean you've deleted your skribit account though.
Some places don't allow you to delete your user account because it would mess up the database- when you say delete, you mean remove everything you said, right? Since skribit is fueled by suggestions, deleting them would be a pretty serious step.
Waiting for Paul, Calvin or Erik to chime in on this one.
Alison asked a question in Twitter on June 09, 2008 02:05:
double posting my tweets on twitter home? When I tweet from the home page (no cell, or, alas, IM at the moment to trial other methods) The tweet shows up on the page. If I refresh the page (to see other people's tweets) I get my tweet twice. However, on my personal tweets page (/titanium_geek) I just see the chronological, one off tweets. No duplicates. I don't think my followers are getting double tweets either.
This isn't really a problem, just a minor annoyance. But it might be a symptom of a bigger problem, so I thought I'd let you guys know.

Note: this issue doesn't go away with a shift refresh, also, x2 only happens, never x3 or higher.
Alison replied on June 07, 2008 18:32 to the question "Customizing the widget header" in Skribit:
Well, there is GOOD NEWS! You can customize the skribit header title! (hooray hooray!)
The steps: Go to skribit.com and log in. Then go to the "my blog" page. Under the "Manage Blog" title, click "Customize". You should land on the "general" tab. The first option here is "Header text." Modify this as you will- "we need ideas, people! click!" or whatever.
The \ signifies a line break- it doesn't show up in the text. You can also change all sorts of aspects of how the widget looks, so it fits with your site. Remember to check it out on your site though as colours look different on a white background.

This is why I'm feeling a little crammed and squished. They are only 2 lines big and I can only see 5 at a time?
