firefox 3.0b5 loses focus at 141 charsCrossposted from firefox 3 reporting- just in case anyone else has this issue/there is a twitter side solution
3.0b5 (downloaded 26 April 08), on Mac OS Leopard.
Using the twitter web interface (www.twitter.com/home) typing in a message that gets to -1 allowable characters (you are allowed 140) the form loses focus. This doesn't happen in FF2 or Safari.
Plus, with the backspace back (turned off in about:config at browser.backspace_action = 2 rather than 0) this was very annoying.

unwanted email = spam. I WANT the emails that say "your friend has finally found twitter and is following you!" I DON'T WANT the emails that say "spammer/jerk with 15,000 follows is following you too!" I don't care if they can read my tweets, can see me in the public feed, are selling snake oil- but it's the email that drives me up the wall. The extra time it takes for me to visit twitter and go "ok, nvm, spammer" annoys me. If added info was in the email, then it would rock. The email wouldn't be annoying.
Oh, but if we don't have to visit twitter.com, we don't give revenue for any pay-per-impression ads that there might be.

Not seeing the new widgetSo, the April updates aren't showing up on my skribit widget (or the others that I've seen) except the one on the skribit home page. How can I fix this? Do I need to repaste in my widget? (I'm using a non-standard blogging platform) Or do we need to wait till the new widget is rolled out?
