Alison T replied on May 27, 2009 01:20 to the problem "$499.90 CHARGED TWICE!" in Mixbook:
Donna,
I called Bank of America and the representative I spoke to let me know that we need the following information from you in order to release the authorization hold. The representative also advised that the authorization hold does fall off your account 3-5 days after the charge. Have you checked to see if this is the case? If it has not, please send me the following, since we do not store this information in our records for privacy purposes:
- credit card number
- expiry date
- cardholder name
Alison T replied on May 27, 2009 00:22 to the question "Email and evite link so people could contribute to my mixbook?" in Mixbook:
Judy,
That's a great idea to send out an invitation to your Mixbook through Evite! Although we don't have integration with them at this time, you can include a link to your book in the body of an Evite. Just copy and paste the URL and make sure that you allow your book to be public. Then your friends can click to "Join" your Mixbook and you can approve them, and they'll become contributors. Let us know if you have more questions by sending them to support@mixbook.com! Thanks!

Alison T replied on May 22, 2009 23:11 to the question "How do you double frame a picture?" in Mixbook:
Monica,
Use our shapes to create another frame around your photos. Just use the square photo shape (located in the sticker tab) and size it to your photo, then use the layering arrows to put the layer on top or behind the photo. (these arrows are the blue arrows on every object)
Hope this helps! For more assistance, email us at support@mixbook.com! Thanks.
Alison T replied on May 22, 2009 22:48 to the question "How undo Automix?" in Mixbook:
Karen,
I'm sorry, but once you've automixed your book, you cannot undo it and go back to your original book. The message before Automixing states that it will overwrite all the pages of your book. You can still use your uploaded photos to make a book, but you will have to reformat it to your choosing manually. Thanks!
Alison T replied on May 19, 2009 21:44 to the question "Will the last page of my book be a single lefthand page?" in Mixbook:
Jeanne,
You can delete the second of the two pages, but what will happen is that a red X will appear on the page to denote that it has been deleted. But that page must exist when a book is bound, it will just be blank white.
Hope this helps! Email us at support@mixbook.com with any other questions you may have!

Alison T replied on May 19, 2009 05:50 to the problem "$499.90 CHARGED TWICE!" in Mixbook:
Donna,
What you are seeing on your statement is not an additional charge, but an authorization hold that is placed on your card when an order is attempted. That charge was declined.
At this time we must wait until the transaction has been settled by our credit card processing company, I've checked our records and your name does not come up -- but this generally takes one day before it is processed. First thing tomorrow I will look into these holds. Please email us at support@mixbook.com in the future. Thank you.

Alison T replied on May 15, 2009 19:00 to the question "It is impossible to edit text on this site!" in Mixbook:
Shari, you can add a text box and make it as big as you'd like to fit an entire page of text -- this shouldn't be a problem. As for editing and zooming, we'd love to add that feature and thank you for your feedback. At this time, you can view text in fullscreen mode, but you cannot edit it in fullscreen mode. We message this in the Mixbook Editor. For any other questions, please direct them to support@mixbook.com
Thanks!

I sent the following email to you on Monday, a day after you emailed us. I need your order number to look into why the spine didn't print and we can go from there to get a reprint. Thank you!

Alison T replied on May 08, 2009 23:08 to the question "Removing Photo from Template Frame" in Mixbook:
AR, if you'd like to have an empty "photo slot", you can use our shapes tool as a placeholder. You can size the square slot any way you'd like, and drop photos into the shape - it can act the same way that a empty photo slot would. You can also drag the shape over a photo, and it will also auto-fit the photo into that shape as well.
Hope that helps!
Alison T replied on May 07, 2009 21:20 to the question "can't put the photos in order" in Mixbook:
Vad, you can make a copy of the book which will help you so you don't have to start the book over. Click on the "Copy" link which is to the right of the book on the My Books page.
In my previous comment to you 4 months ago, I asked if you could email us at support@mixbook.com with your user login so I could look into your account specifically. Please email us and we can help you!
