Ivan, make sure the invites aren't in the spam folder of the people you send them to first. If they're not there let me know, and I'll investigate the problem. :)

Friend Discovery is not yet up and running. Its an upcoming feature for ST! So until then, you won't be seeing suggestions. But when it comes, you will be amazed! :D

Friend Discovery will allow you to see the missing links between your friends and you. For example, if you're on Facebook and Twitter and so is one of your friends and you're not friends with them on those services, it will show you that. It will ask if you'd like to add them as friends on the sites where you are not already friends.

I hope this makes sense, I know its a little confusing.

This is a great idea and something that is in the works and coming very soon. For Socialthing! it will be called "Friend Discovery" and it will let you see where your friends are online and show you the missing links between you and them.

Jhames, you cannot actually befriend a user on Socialthing! The point behind this is that we want you to be able to see what all your friends are doing without having to create another social network of friends again, and so that you can see all of your friends' info without them having to be on Socialthing!

However, we will eventually have user profiles so that you can see who is on it and see their profile. :)

codyks- There is always going to be a little bit of delay because we can only request information so often, however we are doing our best to try and minimize the delay as much as we can, so yes it will improve. Hope this helps and glad to hear you're enjoying the site!

Yes, I was trying to explain that in the last part of that paragraph, sorry if it wasn't clear. I also assumed that the name would just group when I first started using it, so I understand the confusion. :)

Andrew-- You can group these posts so they appear as one by simply grouping the identities of the person. If you click on the person's name, it will give you the ability to rename them. Do this on all of the services they're using (even if their Facebook name is the same as you are naming them) and it will group their multiple posts into one. Hope this helps!

Graham- We don't allow underscores in the username because in the future we plan to do domain names such as "username.socialthing.com" for each user's public profile. Since underscores are not allowed in domain names, we aren't allowing them in our usernames. Hope this helps!

Socialthing! actually grabs all of your contacts from all of the services you add for you. As soon as you add a service, all of your friends are automatically in your Lifestream. No one else has to have Socialthing! for you to see their content.

That is correct. If you've set anything on private, it can't be seen. The setting you selected on Socialthing! is only applied to "public" items.

Unfortunately, we don't currently support adding multiple accounts, but plan to support this in the future!

The photos only showed up in your Lifestream because its your personal Flickr account and something you posted. If you set it to private then no one but you will be able to see it. We respect all privacy settings of all of the services we support. :)
