Having a spokesman is a good idea, but I don't think it would have helped much - especially since the problems from last-night were unexpected. So a spoke persons would know the same stuff like you do: that something is broken.

Anyway, we do care to inform the users about what's going on and we have issued a Plurk Buddy message - - which in our opinion is much more effective, since it translated. Plurk Buddy is really meant to be the spokes person that can communicate with the users in their own native language.

Responses are a big part of Plurk and the link hooks up Facebook users to them. That's why we won't replace the link with a generic Plurk.com link.
