A comment on the discussion "Welcome!" in Flow:
Yeah, I hear you. I know we plan to make some changes down the road that will give admins more control over what content is highlighted. But it sounds like you're talking about some of the meta data that's displayed in the right column as well.
Thanks for the suggestions. If you have more, please feel free to share them as an "Idea" topic in our community so that we can better track your feedback for consideration when it's time to re-design this pages. – Amy Muller, on February 06, 2010 10:03

Amy Muller replied on January 30, 2010 22:04 to the question "How do I get my last name removed from my comments?" in AMC Theatres:
Hi Paul.
Go to your Account Settings page by clicking on "Your Dashboard & Account", then click the "Account Settings" link. You can change your "Nickname" on that page. Whatever name is set as your nickname is the name that will be displayed. You also have the opportunity to change your personal URL from that page. You may want to do that as well so that your last name is not in the URL. You may only change your personal URL once.

Help Us Welcome Our New Community Management Team MembersFrequent visitors to our community may have already noticed that we have two fabulous new additions to our Community Management team, Ginevra and Morgan. They'll be helping out in two different, but very complementary roles: community management and customer support.
We're thrilled to have them on our team, and I'm additionally thrilled because this will allow me to step into a new role, too. I'll be supporting Get Satisfaction's education-based initiatives and leading product training sessions, best practice seminars, discussions, and meetings, among other projects.
You'll continue to get the same great service we always strive to deliver, but now you have a few additional folks to turn to when you're in need. More about my new role on our blog, as well as brief (fun!) interviews with Morgan and Ginevra.
Send them a welcome shout-out right here if you want!

Amy Muller replied on January 28, 2010 01:28 to the idea "Customization of Frequently Asked Questions in Highlights" in Get Satisfaction:
Hi CT & Arielle,
Yes, Arielle, you've been using GS long enough that you've got it pretty well figured out.
I'll just confirm some of the points here.
You can not set the default view. Each individual user will see whatever view that were viewing when they left the community.
If you "Archive" a topic, it will not show up in the Highlights view.
What does show up in the Highlights view is dynamically generated based on "most popular", "most common", "most frequent" plus, as you've sussed, Arielle, certain status settings.
We absolutely agree that companies need to have some control over this as well as a way to curate and feature their own FAQs. These abilities are definitely on the roadmap this year.
CT, I'm going to turn this topic into an "Idea" so that it can be better tracked that way.
Thanks for the feedback.
