This is really frustrating... what's the point of paying for software if it doesn't work, and there's no clear fix?

Communication Error - Cannot connect to flypaper.net
I'm trying to upload a story to get a hyperlink and I get a communication error pop up that says the program cannot connect to flypaper.net and to try in a few minutes... I've been trying for quite a while with no success. 4 hours to be exact... Can someone let me know what the issue is so I can get this up???
