Amy replied on March 18, 2009 02:21 to the question "ReplayTV and Zap2IT lineup missing channels (not digital)" in Comcast:
Thanks. The day after I posted my question, I received mail from Comcast about the transition, and the fact that channels 32 and up were being moved to digital, so I figured there was a connection there.
I did find the alternate lineup choice on the replay unit -- it's a bit obscure, and nothing to do with Comcast. Recording is back to normal for now.
Appreciated the followup.

Amy asked a question in Comcast on March 08, 2009 05:02:
ReplayTV and Zap2IT lineup missing channels (not digital)This is not actually a Digital Cable issue, it's an issue with the cable lineup information being provided to ReplayTV and Zap2It (I believe the two use the same source).
I have "Expanded Basic" Cable service in the 97219 area. With this, I get channels in the range 2-60-something. I use a ReplayTV unit for my viewing and recording -- older technology, but it works. The ReplayTV unit downloads the tv schedule nightly. Today I discovered that my Friday recording from channel 59 (SciFi channel) had not occurred, and the channel information on the ReplayTV covers channels 2-31 only.
Apparently this started early Friday, 3/6 -- the unit saved a message about the channel discrepancy then.
So, I went to www.zap2it.com to see whether my shows might be rebroadcast (and, for that matter, to find out what's on right now). I see the same channels 2-31 there. On Zap2It, I can select the Digital lineup, which seems to be accurate at least for what's on channels 59 and 50 right now, in addition to covering a lot of channels I don't get.
But I don't have this option for the Replay guide. I think that Comcast is providing an incomplete channel lineup to the service that supplies both ReplayTV and Zap2It.com.
Is this a temporary issue, or permanent?
For reference, I think this URL will take you direct to the channel lineup as shown on Zap2It:

I don't have a new place to add, so I tried adding a URL to the place I added the other day -- looks good to me. Plus, I trust you. – Amy, on February 24, 2009 02:31

I had entered "http://www.pdxfinegrind.com" (without the quotation marks).
I tried a few variations, gave up and added the place w/o the website field. :-)

I've been having this problem for awhile on linux; it worked briefly with the 0.8.7-air11-linux version, then again stopped saving passwords when I upgraded to AIR 1.5 and twhirl 8.7. Deleting the PrivateEncryptedData* files fixed it for me.
Directory location is a little different: ~/.appdata/Adobe/AIR/ELS//de.makesoft.twhirl.0EA062BC275E7ED1E6EC3762EFFD73C7158ADF33.1
The file permissions and sizes were identical on the files I deleted, and the new ones created. (shrug)

I figured out my problem. It may not be the same as yours, but -- I was *not* running the version of Adobe AIR I thought I was. Although it appeared I had downloaded it at some point, I had an older version installed. I found this via the package manager and removed it, and then i was able to install the lastest beta. Then, the twhirl install worked. – Amy, on December 14, 2008 02:41

This is happening for me, too. My system is not 32-bit, but I am running an older version of Ubuntu - 7.10.
I was able to install tweetdeck the other day and am running it now, and I am using the latest version of AIR. Hmmm. – Amy, on December 14, 2008 01:36-

Same thing here; just verified someone I listen to shouted within the past half hour, and no message from shout@shizzow.com. I'm using pidgin 2.2.1 on linux.
pidgin reports shout@shizzow.com's status as "offline", but I think that has always been the case (not sure). Also shows me as "unauthorized," with a "to" subscription pending, but I am sure that this has always been the case.-
