say: "Enter your friend's user name, full name or email address in the search box in the upper-right part of the screen, and we'll let you know if that person has signed up for Shizzow yet"

This doesn't work for me. Just now, I discovered that it *does* work if I select "people only," but not if I leave the default "people and places" selected.

I've been searching primarily on people's twitter handles. Of course I can just construct the obvious URL.

I've entered a location (yes, it's my home) with an approximate address. I then attempted to edit the lat/long coordinates by dragging the pointer on the map. (Somehow, it doesn't bother me to have a pointer to the right spot, but it does bother me to blast my address out there. Obviously that issue is beyond the scope of your services.)

So, what keeps happening is, it tells me the new coordinates, says it's updating them (and I can see this in the form to the left of the map), but when I hit "Save" the lat/long goes back to the intersection I entered. (In fact, I have entered "Nearby ..." as the street address.)

For your further amusement, I thought at first that I might be able to avoid the address altogether. I put my exact address in, saved to get lat/long, then edited and cleared the street address but left the lat/long. Unfortunately this bounced the marker back to somewhere on the south waterfront.
