Hmm, there's a chance you have a phantom instance of BumpTop running. Can you take a look at your task manager, processes list (bring it up by pushing Ctrl+Shift+Esc). Do you see a BumpTop.exe in that list? If so, end that process and try starting it again.

Excellent feedback. Just want you to know this is an area of hot discussion within the team these days and we are looking address it in some future releases.

In Chrome, Toobla just spins forever

I'm using Chrome and when I click on a folder or collection of things it opens the grey lightbox thingie, but just has the spinning animation for ever. Works in Firefox though. I'm on a PC.

Thanks for the idea! We've been thinking about mobile platforms and have been tinkering with some things, but no plans releasing something like that specifically yet. Though I agree, the home screen experience on many smart phones suck when you get lots of icons!

BumpTop uses whatever default email client Windows uses.

If you don't have one setup and want to use something like gmail/yahoo mail/hotmail then affixa works really well for that. http://www.affixa.com/download.aspx

Odd. Try this perhaps:

-Double-clicking near the center of the screen, perhaps it will reset the view?
-You can try resetting you scene in the settings. You'll lose your icon layout though. If you want to save your layout you need to save a backup of the scene.bump file, and then delete the scene.bump and scene.bump.bak stored here

C:\Users\USERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Bump Technologies, Inc\BumpTop\

So just to be clear, it starts it just takes forever to start yea?

What do you have on your desktop? Any broken shortcuts or links to network folders that aren't mounted? Those can take quite a bit of time to startup.
