Andi replied on November 17, 2009 09:41 to the question "How can a client comment on the mockup?" in Balsamiq:
The PDFs created by Balsamiq have the flag "Commenting not allowed"
Perhaps it would be possible to comment the PDFs with Acrobat Reader, if commenting was allowed? If it's only a flag in the export function, it would be nice to set it. I still have to find a PDF on my computer, that allows commenting...

Ok, I suspected this to be an Air thing. It's not a high priority bug, perhaps you can report in the Adobe support forum – Andi, on November 15, 2009 12:07
Andi reported a problem in Balsamiq on November 15, 2009 11:35:
OS X: Minimize into application icon hides windows for goodI just found the dock option to minimize windows into the application icon. That's a very nice feature. But... if I minimize a Balsamiq mockup, I can't re-open it.
- clicking the application icon in the dock does nothing
- there is no menu in the dock icon with my open windows
- cmd+tab the open applications show the Balsamiq menu, but selecting it does not show the open windows
If you have influence on this behavior, try to support the feature.
A comment on the question "Could we go back to the old program icon?" in Balsamiq:
I'm a visual guy. The new icon is not as easy to spot in my taskbar as the old one. Check my screenshot in the original post. Make the new icon a orange blob. That's fine for me.
At the moment, it's distracting to switch between the different programs and each time I want to go to Balsamiq, I have to read the text of the tasks in the taskbar to find the correct icon/application. – Andi, on November 15, 2009 07:29
A comment on the question "Could we go back to the old program icon?" in Balsamiq:
No no, that's wrong. I have no emotional binding to the smiley. But check my screenshot of the Windows task bar and find out at one glance, where Balsamiq is.
Keep the icon for the mockup files. Keep the large icon for OS X and for placing the app on the desktop. But it would be nice to have a different (small) icon for the taskbar. – Andi, on November 13, 2009 23:51

A comment on the problem "Window control doesn't remember scroller selection on duplication" in Balsamiq:
Thanks, copying objects with scrollbars works now (in "next") – Andi, on November 12, 2009 18:27
A comment on the problem "Window control doesn't remember scroller selection on duplication" in Balsamiq:
Thanks, works now :-)
BTW. the version number in the help menu of the web-embedded "next mockup" does not correspond the one of the downloaded version. – Andi, on November 12, 2009 14:40

A comment on the problem "Window control doesn't remember scroller selection on duplication" in Balsamiq:
Sorry, something is still wrong with the "Browser Window". If you add the Scrollbar, the window removes the window title.
And if you enable the scrollbar, disable the scrollbar and copy the Browser Window, the scrollbar is visible again. – Andi, on November 12, 2009 12:51

A comment on the idea "Border for image component" in Balsamiq:
Hmm, what's better: to have to external dimension of the image expanded with the border or to expand the dimension with the border?
I prefer it the way it is. In my mockup, I don't care about the size of the picture, but it's relevant, if the picture has the correct size compared to the other elements. – Andi, on November 09, 2009 15:21

A comment on the idea "Zoom Zoom" in Balsamiq:
Try to reduce the font size. And leave away unimportant stuff.
That's how I got smaller mockups. – Andi, on November 06, 2009 11:02
