I still have this problem too. I tried to update and tried to get a 'fresh' installer from the website. Unfortunately it doesn't solve it.

Doubling contacts & extreme address duplication

My contacts are doubling all the time. The worst thing is that the Mac keeps asking if I want to allow these changes... My contacts grow from about 600 to 950 now. Really shit. Additionally there seems to be a problem with the 'Middle Names' and the Addresses. Just to give you an idea how bad it is right now: one of my contacts is 6 times in the list and the address field is copied up to 40 times per contact! So: 1 contact has 40 'addresses', where some of the address entries has 9 times the same data in different ways... Well, if this doesn't make sense, have a look at contact with ID 8404648 (I assume you can have a look).
