    Andreas, please would it be possible to do this to my chat too. I have been running it for a few days and after ten mins, the chat lags and delays and then it all blanks out or throws me offline.

    I have whittled it down to the fact that this all resoves itself for another ten mins if I clear the cache and cookies. It makes sense that if the timeout is set to ten mins that all this would happen and the start again after the cookies are cleared.

    My ning network is starting to get members in now who will be wanting to use the chat and I dont want them to find such problems the first time they use it as it will put them off.

    I appreciate any help you can give me, 90 mins would be great, thanks you so much.

    I need my chat to run without having to clear my cookies
    Hello there, I have just started a Ning network and have been trying out the chat for about 2 days. It seems to go well for about ten mins and then there starts to be long delays in posts being show or they stop altogether. After that my chat goes all blan and throws me offline.

    I have realised that if I clear all of my cookies then it will be ok for another few minutes but end up having to clear cookies all the time to carry on and I cannot expect visitors to have to deal with this.

    Is there something I can do to stop this happening? I have seen something about a timeout function in some posts on here, could it be that and could it be altered? Thanks for any help.
