Here's a script I came up with. It has some flaws but will give you both Badges and Growl support in Gmail using what ever language.

Conversations i Gmail behaves weird

Hi, there's a problem with Menu Extras and Gmail.
If you start a chat with your gmailbuddy a small windows appears at the right bottom of the windows, right? Well, there's an option to turn this little window into a separate popup. That works great in "normal" ssbs but not while in Menuextra mode!
The whole gmail window becomes blank and jumps out of place.

Have tabs open by default

Hi, it would be nice if you could have some tabs open by default each time you start your SSB. Like your blog in one tab, the stats for your blog in another one and also an overview over comments added to your blog in the last tab.

Also a feature to lock the tabs, so that you can't close em by mistake.

Todd, just a thought. In case that somebody redistribute their apps, shouldn't you add a like to the fluid-website in the SSBs about-windows?

It's possible since Fluid is creating stand alone apps. Don't distribute these apps though.
