Andrew set one of Andrew's replies as an official response to "Category display query" in Red Robot Studios
Andrew replied on November 27, 2009 14:29 to the question "Category display query" in Red Robot Studios:
Hi Nuparc,
At the moment there isn't a way of spreading the categories over multiple columns. However, we have just made a change so when a category is selected, the user will jump straight down to the results which will help alleviate the problem for the moment.
Take a look at your job board to see it in action: http://nuparc.easyjobboards.com/roles...
We are looking at ways to help make long lists of categories easier to navigate and we'll update this question once we have something released.
Hope this helps.

Andrew set one of Andrew's replies as an official response to "Background Image??" in Red Robot Studios
Andrew replied on July 22, 2009 08:53 to the question "Background Image??" in Red Robot Studios:
Hi Shanae,
It seems you've spotted a typo.
We did plan to enable boards to have custom background images, but prior to release we decided to remove the feature and wait until it was requested. Unfortunately, that text seems to have been left behind from development and I have now removed it from the page to avoid confusion.
Is being able to have a background image a deal-breaker for you?
Hope this answers your question.

Andrew replied on April 30, 2009 18:51 to the question "What Happened?" in Red Robot Studios:
Hi Thomas,
We have expired all gigs over a month old to help to keep the listings current and relevant. Most (if not all) of the gigs which were removed had already been filled, and since employers often ask us to de-list their gigs once the position has been filled, we thought we'd be more proactive about removing them from public display sooner.
Expired gigs are still accessible via their existing address (e.g. http://djangogigs.com/gigs/575/) but there is now a note at the top to alert you that it has expired.

Hi Marcelo,
Thanks for the feedback but I'm wondering in what way would showing the status of a job help make it clearer?
Although employers can remove a gig once the position has been filled not many do, so it's currently difficult for us to indicate the status of the job.
We will be expiring old gigs soon so the list of potentially active gigs should decrease and make searching and applying easier.
Andrew replied on April 22, 2009 08:13 to the idea "Rss feed only for remote jobs" in Red Robot Studios:
Hi Marcelo,
You can already create a feed just for remote gigs. Just check the "All Remote Gigs" box at the top of the "Generate your own feed" (http://djangogigs.com/gigs/feed/gener...) page to get a feed of all remote gigs.
Alternatively, you can cheat and just use the link below:
http://djangogigs.com/feeds/gigs/remote/
Hope this helps.
