Andrew replied on September 22, 2009 18:08 to the question "Grid doesn't support 2nd SSL certificate and no easy upgrade" in Media Temple:
Unfortunately, at this time, you cannot install more than 1 SSL per (gs) Grid Service due to the way that the system is architected and the requirement of an exclusive IP per SSL certificate. We do apologize for this limitation. However, I can offer you a second (gs) Grid Service at a discounted price if this is something that may work for you.
Please give me a call at 310-841-5535 and I will be more than happy to arrange this for you.
Andrew replied on June 19, 2009 20:49 to the problem "Phone Hold Time" in Media Temple:
Thank you very much for your feedback. Some of your suggestions are already being planned for our new phone system that we are currently working to implement within the next few months. The new phone system will be much more robust with more frequent updates. Thank you for taking the time to provide us with this information.
Andrew replied on June 19, 2009 19:40 to the problem "Phone Hold Time" in Media Temple:
We are sincerely sorry for the long hold times. We are currently in the process of upgrading our phone systems to better accommodate our customers in situations of high call volume. We are also constantly hiring additional staff to reduce the hold times as well and hold times should be much shorter within the next few months as we hire and train new staff.
We apologize once again for this inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding.

Andrew replied on February 06, 2009 00:13 to the idea "Make sure your database servers can handle your load!" in Media Temple:
You are correct. We are indeed having some issues with certain segments of our (gs) Grid-Service hosting product. This is not a global problem. Our Engineers are doing their best to minimize any customer-impacting downtime while we work these issues out. We internally have a long-term plan on permanently fixing all of these slowness and availability concerns. Often times, it may be hard to see the progress we are making from the customer's perspective. But we would like to assure you that there is indeed much progress that has been made and more is being made every day.
We highly encourage you to check our System Status page at http://status.mediatemple.net, which is where we communicate any relevant information regarding major incidents. Bookmark that link and check that first to see what may be going on and to determine if you are affected. And as always, we value any feedback about how we can make this system better for you as well. Please feel free to ask for me, Andrew in Customer Service, if you would like to speak to us directly, or visit http://mediatemple.net/company/contac... to drop us a note.

If it is difficult to call us to have the issue resolved, then here are some suggestions we can give you.
1. Try using a different browser.
2. Try updating your browser to the latest version.
3. Try temporarily turning off your firewall if one is active. This may be a software or hardware firewall.
If none of the above options work, you can even try accessing the Account Center from a different computer and see if that works.
Also please note that "Get Satisfaction" is a tertiary means of providing limited support and is not our primary support medium.

This is in response to forresde:
You are absolutely correct and bring some great points. However, I do believe you are comparing apples to oranges in this case. We actually did resolve the customers issue the day the issue was reported, where we failed was the level of communications we needed to provide the customer. And we are in the process of fixing this. And we don't think the customer is wrong nor does it matter if the customer is right or wrong. What matters most is that the customer is happy in the end. Which is why we have credited his account for 3 months worth of service.
Which brings us to the reason why we are on "Get Satisfaction". We are here to listen to our customers as well as anyone else interested in our company to make our company "customer friendly". We actually love "Get Satisfactions'" Company - Customer Pact. http://www.ccpact.com/
We think it is the motto our company has lived by and will continue to live by.

In addition to Arman's response, I would like to apologize again for any delays or failures on our part. We definitely are not in business to make our customers upset nor are we here on "Get Satisfaction" for any other reason than to listen to our customers. You most definitely have a voice here and we make every effort to listen and respond in a timely manner. We are currently in the process of hiring additional Support Staff to handle your requests in a much more expedient manner and we anticipate things to get better fairly shortly.
But don't hesitate to let us know again if we drop the ball or don't meet your expectations. We will do whatever we can to make things right.
