Thanks for the input. We are going to be working through the whole "My Veoh" area in the next few weeks and have similar plans for presenting message updates as well as updates to subscriptions etc.

The voting system requires multiple votes from multiple IP addresses. Once the votes are acknowledged the change will go through. Right now we get little to no use of of this feature (in the neighborhood of .000001% of users). As much as we would like to make it easier for the users with good intentions such as yourself to re-categorize content... We also need to prevent abusive users. Finding that balance has been VERY tough. We are currently working through the video page. I will see how this feedback plays into what we have plannned.

The hanging issue has been acknowledged and an update is on the way. Thanks for your patience. In the meantime, uploading via the web may be your best option.

JBird, Are your issues persisting? We have a few changes rolling out in the in the next couple of days that should improve uploading. In the meantime the site uploader may be your best bet.

We are doing our best :) It has been a busy few weeks here. Thanks for being patient.

:: VeohTV / Web Player ::
The previous version of the web player "VeohTV" has been phased out and replaced with the new veoh player. The primary use for the veoh clients has been to supplement the site. Although some users browsed content on the client, a vast majority preferred the web experience for search/browse behaviors. We feel that the Veoh Web Player is the best way to provide users a well-rounded experience.

:: Playlists ::
These are basically collections of content that users can maintain on there own and do whatever they want with. With the Veoh plug-in installed, this is not limited to veoh.com video.
Personally, I add videos from all over the web (veoh included) and then pull up http://veoh.com/tv on my PS3 (works with the Wii too :) ) and watch the videos when I have the time.

The conventions we have in place are set to ensure a secure and consistent experience across all veoh pages. What you are talking about seems like a nominal change, but keep in mind that it could negatively impact users existing customizations. I will review this with the engineering team and see what kind of impact it would have. Thanks for the suggestion.

It sounds like there is an issue with the firefox plugin. Can you try using a different browser and let us know if the issue persists outside of firefox. Thanks, Andrew

Sounds like you may have hit the download button (under the player). When download is selected, it will download the video to your library. If you want to delete a video, right click (option click on mac) and select "remove"

Thanks gr. I have added a few of the engineers to take a look at the specifics of this issue. Are you running any additional add-ons etc? As a last resort I would preform an uninstall and then reinstall to ensure there were no hick-ups in that portion of the process.

I have passed this along to our engineers. Sounds like a bug in the DB or front end resulting in duplicates showing up.
