That looks like space that wordpress is adding in.

In your sidebars.php file, you should be able to play with the following line to change the buffer between your widgets. You want to change with the margin-bottom number to adjust this buffer:

li.widget { font-size: 1.3em; line-height: 1.385em; margin-bottom: 2.769em; }

You can toggle it on and off with Ctrl-C.

The feed api returns up to the latest 30 items so you won't get anything after that.

Do you mean the first couple of posts arn't being displayed?

There is also a delay between when a post is made and when we find it and add it to our system.
