Is twitter going to ban mass followers/ removers?

The process of adding 30,000-60,000 followers and unfollowing those that don't follow back is gaining in popularity. It is done in chunks of 1000, and seems to be flying under the radar.

This is not healthy for twitter (30,000-60,000 messages sent by twitter from one user?) or for the community as a whole.

I fear that if twitter doesn't take some amount of action, this will be the status quo.

Is there a plan to address this issue?

If Kirsty really found these links offensive, wouldn't they take down the articles they are linking to? Right now, all the porn links go to the Kirtsy page with the page and porn links still up.

But the links seem to be just linking to the site, so it looks like it is just grabbing an rss feed...

More why it matters, showing up on the election page, shouldn't there be a filter, like, you must have one follower, to show up on the highly promoted page?

Every grouplist is a wiki, editable by anyone with the password to the grouplist.

We track every login, and eventually anyone will be able to revert grouplists if vandalism occurs.

Another thought is grouplist is as lightweight as possible. Hopefully, a full wiki will be helpful (fixing others errors, filling in the blanks).

Any other suggestions? I like we have put in almost all of them
