Great service and really simple to use. I'm not familiar with RSS feeds so why not have a tip that explains how to find the RSS Feed URL.

Re: Thuraya, I've now been able to register the Thuraya number (which is actually +88216..., by using the country code +882 and then 16.... as the number.

This might work for Iridium too (using +881 as the country code), but none the less when I text the valdiation code from the phone I get a delivery report to say it's been received, but it doesn't validate the phone. Grrrr.

I suspect it has something to do with reverse billing whereby twitter send the sms but it is supposed to be charged to my sat phone and knowing how unsophisticated Thuraya are, I suspect this is not possible.

A comment on the problem "Twitter support for Iridium phones?" in Twitter:

I got it to work with my Thuraya number by using country code +882, and including the rest of the country code in the number. Perhaps +881 will work for Iridium numbers? – andy, on August 26, 2009 06:07

Same phone code though, +8816, and same problem of registering it on twitter.

I can't even get it to acknowledge +88 or +8816 as an international country code, so I can't even get to the page where you are given a verification code.

I'm using a Thuraya so Iridium email isn't an option. And I don't think Thuraya have an equivalent.
