It is unlikely that this is a download problem. In terms of it being a "trial" issue, trial version is fully-functional and allows you to manually enter 100 transactions. Imported transactions are not limited.

To delete a transaction, right clicking with the transaction highlighted will bring up a list of options - one of which is "delete transaction".
