Thanks for the tip. I deleted all traces of Twhirl. I cleared my Cache. Deleted all adobe products. Reloaded Adobe. rebooted. Cleared my Cache again. Tried to load Twhirl - got a message saying adobe air was corrupt.

Good-bye Twhirl....

Clearing the Temp Files Cache (Windows Vista IE7) fixed me. Thanks!!!
Cleared the cache, redownloaded (this time the file was bigger).
I didn't need to close the browser.
It installed cleanly with no errors.

I tried restarting my browser and deleting some of my cookies.

My best guess is that Adobe is really stressing out now.

Occasionally, you might have a disruption in your internet connection during the download process, resulting in an unusable file. Our best guess is that your browser caches that file and wont attempt to re-download the file, but instead uses the same file you already downloaded.

Hopefully, this could be resolved by clearing your cache, clearing your download list, and/or restarting your browser.

However, if the file still does not work for you, send an email to thomas at seemsic.com and I can send you the file.

I have the same problem to, and I run XP. I don't think it's a matter of what the error looks like as it is with the file. You really got to fix that file.

I get told that I have a bad air file. have reinstalled air several times but still not working for me.
