Hi,
Thanks for your email. Can you point us to a current mix created within August in your account where you see this behavior? If you would rather contact us directly at support at motionbox dot com, that would be just fine too.
We can try to bring any attention to this again. Thanks!

anitaw replied on August 27, 2009 20:49 to the question "DV-AVI or MPEG-2?" in Motionbox:
Hi Casey,
Video that is not compressed will always look best in the final encoding on Motionbox. However, yes, you can try to convert the video to MPEG2 or as per our instructions on video compression:
http://www.motionbox.com/content/help...
Please keep in mind that a 4GB file is still an very large video that may take quite some time to upload and may or may not have good playback results due to Flash limitations. It would be suggested to cut this video into 2GB or less segments instead.
Good luck and let us know how it goes!

Hi Casey,
The company that you may want to look into is called Arkiva:

They will convert your old video and then you can upload it into your Motionbox account once you have received the new digital format. Please feel free to contact them for any other details on the transfer.

Hi Art,
I'm not sure if your other javascript problem was related or not but we've just tired to reproduce this and have been able to successfully upload Russian characters which also appear correctly on the site once uploaded (using the MXU). We switched to several browsers on a Mac, all successful.
Please let us know if you have any other questions or comments about this.
Thanks!

Hi Lisa,
I hope you were able to work this issue out - we responded to your email over the weekend. If you're still not able to use the Shutterfly uploader, do let us know. In the meantime you may use the MXU at http://www.motionbox.com/install/mxu

Hi guys,
We're really sorry for the frustrations with uploading - the issue is sporadic but some users are hitting it very often.
You'll need to restart the MXU or pause/resume it to move the video upload along. Also, moving the video directly to your desktop may work better for now when uploading - instead of uploading from your camera or an external device.
The engineering team has made this a top priority and we do appreciate your patience. We did have one build a week or more ago but there is a second part to the build which is being worked on currently.

Hi Phil,
Currently there is an issue with the MXU appearing to stall. Your upload may very well be on its way but you'll need to restrat the MXU to move it along. Also, moving the video directly to your desktop may work better for now when uploading - instead of uploading from your camera or an external device.
The engineering team is trying to resolve the MXU issues currently and hope to have a new release within a week.
Thanks for your patience.

Hi Gabor and Steve,
We can't guarantee this feature will be implemented in the near tearm but do know that our team is very aware of this. Mona has escalated this even further so we're hoping that it receives prompt attention soon.
We appreciate your patience, persistence and continued follow-up.
All the best,
