Hi stm!
Sorry about that - no you are not nuts at all! It looks like we had an issue with mobile uploads not working for a while and our engineering team fixed the problem in this morning's build. So viola! folks are now getting those previous mobile uploads to their accounts, hence the emails about them.
We're truly sorry for the inconvenience on the delay and for today's surprise.
Hopefully you are still wanting those mobile uploads.
Best regards,

Hi,
Our engineering team may be able to provide more input on the specific questions you have after knowing more about your goals and your video source.
However, do keep in mind it is recommended for best results to upload the camera source video without any editing or compressing. If you need to edit your video, our mixer may help.
Thanks for your good advice too, stm!
Happy New Year -

Hi Fred,
Is this on a new video you have uploaded just in the past few days or an older video where the thumbnail image has suddenly changed? Is it possible you can let us know specifically which video(s) this happens with to pass to our engineering team?
Please send the video link(s) to support at motionbox dot com.
Appreciate your input and futher information!

anitaw replied on December 22, 2008 23:45 to the question "When will embedded video no longer be forced to autoplay?" in Motionbox:
Hi Jason,
We have a new player now in Beta which I would urge you and any of our other users here on Get Satisfaction to try out. On the play page of the beta version of your video, you can cut and paste the embed code and it should no longer auto-load on your web pages.
To access the new player add ?affiliate_name=beta to the end of any of your videos. (If you then later want to remove your videos playing in the new player, you can sign out, close your browser and then relaunch your browser and you should your videos play in the current player.)
Please feel free to give us some input on this new player anytime and of course, do keep in mind if you choose to embed the new player, this is still considered a Beta version. We are planning on some weeks in Beta before its announcement and counting on a few power users such as yourself to check it out.
Thanks! Just let us know if you have any questions!
Cheers,
Anita

anitaw replied on December 08, 2008 17:23 to the idea "Express Uploader queue" in Motionbox:
Hi Art,
Thanks for your insight. Currently the way the Express Uploader should work is that it queues and uploads 2 videos at a time - the first 2, then the next etc. in the order added to the uploader.
Please let us know if you aren't seeing this as the case and if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Anita W.

anitaw replied on December 03, 2008 19:18 to the idea "Automatic SD conversion for HD files." in Motionbox:
Corey,
It sounds like you'll want to default to the SD version in your "settings" for default player. Your "settings" are found on any page of Motionbox when logged in at the top right.
Your default player means it will automatically encode your video for that version first each time.
Thanks for posting and have a good day!

Hi,
So you are now on AOL 10.1? You may also want to ensure your Flash is updated, not sure if you have done so: http://get.abode.com/flashplayer
Then, be sure to reboot your computer.
We do recommend for best viewing results Mozilla Firefox for PCs.

Hi,
We apologize for the delay in resolving this issue. It appears this is under investigation and we thank you for your patience. It looks like mobile uploads currently have an issue getting to accounts, as you have reported and our engineering team is looking into this.
