I changed the setting for posts to city, but it still did not update Twitter, so I think there is something more to this problem than just that.

I just posted my first photo on Brightkite, and I have my options set so that only photos and location updates are cross-posted to Twitter. However, it didn't happen this time. Is something broken?

Opened Twhirl again just for the alerting & it alerted me to a new version. 0.7.4 seems to have fixed the identity problem. Nice work, guys!

I'm having the same trouble as carocat, and I tried the reminder thing, but I get a message saying, "We couldn't find a matching twitter username and password in our database." TwitterFeed is working with my feed (http://feeds.feedburner.com/eclecticl...), and I haven't changed the login information, so I don't know why your reminder tool isn't working. My Twitter name is anna_c and my OpenID URL is claimid.com/eclecticlibrarian.
