Hi Nick,
I'm really sorry to hear the audio is still lagging for you. Thanks for letting us know about it. Could you possibly email me a system profile report to anna@clearleft.com so we can see if we can pinpoint the problem?
To do this, click on the Apple > About This Mac > More Info > File... > Save As
Also, could I just confirm you are running the latest version of Silverback?

Hi everyone,
We've built an iMovie compatibility option into the latest version of Silverback. Before, you couldn't import videos with chapter markers into iMovie. In the new version if you want to export a video for import into iMovie, go to Silverback > Preferences > Export > and uncheck "output chapter markers"

Announcing Silverback 1.1We've just launched a new version of Silverback. Here are some of the new features we've built into this version based on your suggestions.
Batch Export
Ryan, Simon, lwaldal, David, Darvers, Ranguard and Richard all asked for the ability to export multiple sessions, which you can now do in version 1.1. You can export an entire project at once by going to File > Export Project.
Chapter Marker Feedback
Roland asked for visual feedback when adding chapter markers. We thought this was a great idea, so in the new version when you add a chapter marker, the Silverback Gorilla icon in the taskbar briefly flashes.
Language Support
We asked you what languages you want us to support. Silverback now supports German, Spanish, and Japanese. So thanks to our excellent translators — David Rodriguez, Sebastian Gerhard, Michael Grosch, Julian Schrader, and Satoshi Kikuchi.
As well as these features, we've also fixed bugs you flagged up.
iMovie import incompatibility
You wanted to import sessions into iMovie, but videos with chapter markers were incompatible with the software. So we added an iMovie compatibility option. To export an iMovie friendly video, go to Silverback > Preferences > Export, and uncheck the "Output chapter marks" option.
Bug with cancelling exports
You told us about a problem with cancelling exports. So we fixed this.
Audio/Video lag
You also told us that the video was lagging behind the sound. So we've fixed this too.
As always, your feedback is really useful to us and helps make Silverback better.

Hi Andrew,
I'm sorry to hear you're having problems with Silverback. Have you had this problem before or has it only started recently?
If you haven't already, it may be worth trying exporting the files at a different quality, into a different folder, or onto a seperate drive to see if that fixes the problem.
If that doesn't work, it would be really useful if you could give me some more details about your computer so I can send them onto our developer. If you could click on the apple > About This Mac > More Info > File > Save As... and then email the file to anna@clearleft.com
