I don't get error messages, but I don't get a well-formed page, either. Perhaps a link to your page might help demonstrate PBwiki's robust handling of large pages?

No. For $250/year, you can "hide" pages, that can only been seen by admins, but you can't password-protect individual pages. Usually folks needing password-protected pages just create a second, free, "private" wiki, and link to pages there.

You can't. Only a user can enable their own notifications.

I wouldn't get too excited about the tabbed sidebar. It was a new feature when they "released" it to the public, but it has already been discontinued in the "new" 2.0 wikis. You can see an example of the tabbed sidebar here.

There's no way for a user to convert their own wiki to V2.0. They are still working out bugs.

If you can't find "settings", then either you're not logged in as the admin, or your wiki is broken. Either way, your best bet for getting this resolved is to contact support (using the 'help' link in the upper right corner of your wiki) and file a trouble ticket.

PBwiki's idea of "public" differs from that of Mr. Webster. When they say "public", it means anyone can read it without logging in. You still have to grant them access to write or comment.

That's nice, but if users have to *request* access, then that means someone has to *grant* access, and that's just as bad. You're in the right place, but the price has gone way up. From past quotes given in posts here, non-profits are considered "business" users. "Business" wikis pay $8/user/month, and non-profits get a 50% discount, so you're looking at $4/user/month times 100 users = $400/month. That's steep.
