An Opinion On How To "Move" More People....I recently saw a WWF commercial that aired on TV. As I was watching the polar bears in the commercial and listening to the spokesman talk, I realized how much more "moving" it may be to show not only and cub and it's mother, but also an emaciated bear. I know from personal experience how moving this image can be: I once viewed a program on a brother-sister duo of polar bears and in the end, the film crew was able to locate one of the siblings only to find it in terrible condition--the bear was starving because there were no seals living on that particular island lacking ice. This image, along with another of an obese dolphin, will forever haunt me.

Are you also offended by car commercials? They interrupt golf matches all of the time.
And how selfish of you: these commercials DO air to everyone else in this country. Believe it or not, some people in the world actually care about the destruction to wildlife, not to mention, I'm pretty sure WWF is not sponsored by or endorsed by Al Gore.
If you don't want to see the commercial, turn it off.
