Same exact problem on a 1526. It started 2 weeks after purchase, but my girlfriend just ignored it forever and opted to just complain about how much she hates her laptop instead. I have no idea whether it's still under warranty.

My girlfriend's laptop developed this problem 2 weeks after she purchased it. Best Buy refused to help and she's sat on the problem for some time. She's already sworn off purchasing any more Dell products, but she's still stuck using a laptop that can only practically be used as a desktop. Is anyone still helping with this problem?
