What you've described is similar to how it works right now. Specifically, if I add you as a contact then a.) you will receive an email indicating that I've added you and b.) you will be able to see privileged information in my profile. At this stage I do not get to see any of your privileged information. In order for that to happen you have to also add me as a contact.

When you are listing your contacts you should be able to click on the tag and it will change to an editor. You may then remove the tags that you do not want to keep. Right now this is the only way to remove tags from contacts.

What we'd like to do is make it so you can add *any* service to the Where I am on the Web. You shouldn't be limited to just the services that we think are useful, but should be able to add services that *you* think are useful. Not sure when it's going to make it into production, but that's our current plan.

We actually had microID enabled and disabled it because of privacy concerns. If we bring it back it'd probably need to be optional.

Sounds reasonable to me. In combination with the ability to disable the display of Twitter messages on your activity stream it would give you the right amount of control to match how you use Twitter.

I would like to request 30boxes implementation for the ones who have that service in use. Also, perhaps a ClaimID implementation, in order to not saturate my own page with all those services that I'm eager to add, but also optative, so anyone else won't have to feel forced to have an account there.

Absolutely. We're working on improving the management of these service subscriptions so that in a future release you will not have to delete the service.

A comment on the question "More flexible import procedure" in chi.mp:
